As always, the health and safety of our patients, staff, and families are our top priority. As such, we have implemented new new protocols and procedures for everyone’s safety.
**THE DOCTOR AND ALL OF OUR STAFF ARE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19**
Besides our stringent disinfection protocols, we have added additional equipment to provide UV disinfection and to reduce airborne contaminants and debris.
NEW PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):
You will notice that we will be wearing additional PPE, including N95 or KN95 masks, face shields, fluid resistant lab coats, and surgical caps. Please understand that although we may look a little different, we will still greet you with a smile and treat you in the same friendly environment you have come to expect from us at Parkside Dental.
During the two weeks prior to your scheduled appointment, we ask that you continue to maintain social distancing guidelines. Specifically, by wearing a mask when out in public, avoiding dining inside of restaurants or bars during this timeframe, and avoiding crowds and gatherings. This will not only help minimize your risk of exposure, but also help us provide a safer environment at our office for patients, staff, and families. If you are unable to isolate during this two week period and/or you feel you may have become exposed to anyone testing positive to COVID-19, please let us know as soon as possible and we will gladly reschedule your appointment for you.
CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT:
We will continue to confirm your appointments by phone or e-mail, but due to high demand and limited appointment availability we ask that patients call us back to verbally confirm their appointment and to complete quick and easy screening questions related to COVID-19 prior to your appointment date. We ask that you reschedule if you or anyone in your household has been sick in the last two weeks.
MASKS/FACE COVERING:
We ask that you wear a mask or face covering to and from the office. Due to the shortage of PPE, we cannot provide this for you.
CHECKING IN:
There are two options for checking-in for your appointment. You may either come into the office directly and into our waiting room or call us to check-in. Once you have arrived and parked your car, you may call our office at (206) 789-5234 to check-in. You will remain in your car or off site, instead of our waiting room. We will call you once we are ready to have you enter the office in order to seat you in our treatment room. Due to the extra disinfection protocols between patients, we kindly ask for your patience and allow extra time as needed. Only patients with scheduled appointments and one guardian will be allowed in the office.
UPON YOUR ARRIVAL:
We will employ a touch less thermometer to check your temperature and have you use hand sanitizer before bringing you back.
SOCIAL DISTANCING:
Social distancing will still be employed and we ask that you maintain 6 feet of distance when feasible.
OTHER HELPFUL TIPS:
Due to the extra PPE staff will be wearing, the temperature will be cooler in the office and you may want to bring extra outerwear should you need it. We will no longer be able to offer you one of our blankets at this time.
We will no longer offer magazines in our waiting room as well.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING REGARDING ALL THE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS WE ARE TAKING AT THIS TIME.
